Sunday Sketches

Happy Sunday Everyone!

You can find more Sunday Sketches at Sophia's place.

Here is a new gal I did this week - I can't decide if I like her more with the black background or without...What do you think?

I am also feeling she is unfinished and am considering doing a lower half to complete her, which will be different from my other ladies. May be a full skirt with petal detailing....

Let me know what you all think...I love all your comments!

Smiles and hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!

I like her with a dark background - and yes, she is crying out for a petal skirt with perhaps some bud-like shoes. I think she is surely a dancer! You know I so love visiting all these lovely blogs week by week and watching everyone's art grow and evolve. These girls you are producing are just wonderful - keep up the great work!

I like the black background it really makes her stand out. A petal skirt would be gorgeous and I also think she looks like an exotic dancer.

all the lovely detail is so thrilling. She is wonderfully sweet and lively. I look forward to seeing what you do with her, full body would be grand.

She's very pretty. I love the detail in her hair and the colors of her clothing reminded me of flowers. Beautiful.

And she does look lovely, Julia! I see her fitting very nicely in a fairy tale... a flower fairy princess, perhaps? :))

And thank you for leaving such kind sweet comments on my blog, you are always so kind to me. (hugs)

Hi Julia,
I think she is my favorite of all of the girls so far. I enlarged it on my computer, and just love her eyes. Great detail, there. and i really like the dark background, too.
I think she is lovely as is....what size is she? I like the whole flower theme....tulip sleeves and all...!!!
wonderful.
have a great sunday!!

She is so lovely!! I like both backgrounds, but she definitely stands out a little more with the black. I think a petal skirt would be wonderful! :) ~Lauren

Oh, I think that I told you that the last one was my favorite - but, but - I have a new favorite now! I LOVE her and love the way she pops off of the black background. The colors are brilliant and I really like her refined updo.
I would love to see her with a body, but love her as she is too. Looking forward to seeing what you do,
Kristin xo

This is my first time to your blog and I must say I am intrigued by your use of pattern. I vote black background and regardless of whether she tells you she wants more work or not- I think she's beautiful.
