Bookmarks and Cards! - Sunday Sketches

Hello Everyone!  Look what I have been up to in my little studio!  :-)
Getting ready for a local craft show and making lots of pretty laminated bookmarks and greeting cards!

This is such  great way for me to share my art with people at a reasonable rate! And my creativity is going wild as I look for new ways to embellish each piece.

Love this beauty! :-)

The details on these two at this tiny size are insane!  I just love what shrinking my work
does to the detailing on each piece!

Fun!

Dreamy!

Just back from a trip to the Oregon coast where I attended several gallery events and had an absolutely inspiring weekend!  I got to talk to several artists that, like me, got serious about their art later in life.  I am so full of ideas and so inspired I could burst! :-)

Don't you just love when that happens!

Smiles and exhuberent hugs to you all!

Julia

PS - the bookmarks are available to purchase here :-)

And I will have the cards up soon...

And for new work...These are some bookmarks I did for the kids a while ago...

But I am working on new ones to add to my online shop with popular girls and boys names - These can also be custom ordered. :-)

Please stop by lovely Sophia's and check out all of the other wonderful artists that participate for

Hello Julia from Scotland!! I hope the art show was a big success? I can't imagine your work not flying out the door. Each drawing is more unique and gorgeous than the next. When you mentioned the Oregon Coast, my dad (now that he is a widower) spends a lot of time in Astoria with his art buddies, painting and chatting. He drove to Jackson Hole in Sept. & got the good fortune of attending a big dinner hobnobbing with all these amazingly talented artists. They took him in, gave him a ticket and shared their knowledge of painting with him. I've never seen him so thrilled to share his experiences for years and years. I wanted to wish you and your family a great Thanksgiving. I for once am flying home!!! My father is being honored in Snohomish on the 26th for his 43 years of teaching. Over 300 people are expected to attend. I'm so excited. Wishing you all the best and keep doing what you love, as we all love it too!!
