Spring Break!

Hello everyone!  How is your week going?

I thought I'd post the progress on this latest piece ~ I am going for a lot of color and have also tried a new (to me) detailing tecnique of scribbling in tiny circles...How do you like it?

It's spring break here and we are very busy with shunting kids to play dates, hosting play dates here, baking, having trampoline tournaments, riding bikes, etc!

Wow! When they are all home, it is a full house!  And when you add a couple of friends to the mix, whewww!

Still having lots of fun, enjoying this precious time with them, and yes, looking forward to Summer break, which is right around the corner!

Sending you all hugs and warm thoughts!  Off to breakfast them all and get the day started ~

Julia darling, how are you? Wow, I can see that your techniques are getting more advanced each time I visit. The details look so rich and beautiful, I'm sure this lady will turn out wonderful as the others.

Nice to know you're having fun with all the activities. Careful with the trampoline! :)

Oh my gaaaaahhhhhhh!!! What is that she has on her hair? It looks so real. What did you use to add texture? Oh goodness, so detailed and it tickles me to no end because I can just imagine you drawing her hair. We should draw together. People will think we are two nuts. Good nuts, you know. Hahahahah! I already love her. Enjoy your Spring break. I am vacuuming right now. Heheheh. Tsup!

Julia she is beautiful! I love this circle technique and I always marvel at the detail you manage to include in your drawings. Love the soft expression on your girls faces too :0) Beautiful work! And you manage to create this with a house full of children!?! Amazing!!!!

Thank you for your comments about my butterflies in answer to your question I have used a print of the purple one already as a pendant it came up really nice too, that one is in my etsy shop if you were curious as to how it looks :0) I tend to take photos of all my paintings so that I can use them for other things I think you are right they would make a nice card :0) Have a great weekend xoxo

Thank you dearest Julia. I would like that. I am very shy with first time coffee or tea time, so I may not be saying much.
