Sunday Sketches - Brittany

This week I have had hardly any time for art.  We are still getting ready to move and signing on our new house tomorrow!  Very excited.

So this is a 'just started' sketch of my oldest daughter, Brittany, as she looked when she was much younger.
Still enjoying these 'Zen Portraits' a lot and I find them very relaxing.

Hope all of you are having a relaxing and wonderful Sunday!

Please head over to Sophia's place to enjoy more great Sunday Sketches.

OOOOOOHHHH! This is my favorite so far. I don't know why. I think it is the eyes. They are very lively. Good luck on the closing. I read your tale about the house search and I sympathize. Hope all goes well. Enjoy your Sunday and have a great week! Tsup!

hello dear lady,
So lovely to see this portrait in action. It would make a very interesting piece if it were finished at this point, it would beg to know what the textured parts mean against the blank of open spaces.
Still I know it will be charming and I bet we will get to enjoy it when it is finished. Wishing you a graceful move.
