Sunday Sketches

Welcome to Sunday Sketches!  You can find more great sketches over at Sophia's place.  These are the pieces we have been working on this week.

Amira is crazy about horses, so drew this wonderful fellow looking at a plastic horse the boys have.  I think it turned out amazing!

My piece is another attempt at creating more 'Smile Campaign' material.  If you are not familiar with my 'Smile Campaign', I am a firm believer that the world would be a better place if we all just shared a smile with each person we meet during our day.  It's Free after all :-)

I am thinking about putting a hot pink border around this drawing and printing it on a lime green t-shirt for my girls.  What do you all think?

Looking forward to visiting all of the other participants!

Have a super Sunday!

And of course...

I love your smile campaign! It really does work and makes me have a better day too! Lovely work. Great horse, i find animals hard, but my children don't!

LOVE it. You should make them for adults too, and I will be your first customer. How darling, really this is a great idea. A smile goes a long way....
Amira, what a great job you have done with this horse. Animals are hard for me, you've outdone yourself here! yippee i like your use of colored pencils, too. hope school is going well for you!

I just have to start by saying Amira did an incredible job on that horse!!! (I personally find horses very difficult to draw, so I'm even doubly impressed :) )

I love the happy flowers and Operation Smile sounds like a wonderful idea!

p.s. Your finished flapper girl is fabulous!

Julia,
I absolutely love your smiles campaign. I cannot wait to see her completed. You are so creative and clever. :)

And tell Amira that I love horses, too. I should send her a special one I drew when I was in high school...just for her collection.

Hugs!
