SUNDAY SKETCHES

Moongazer

Hi everyone!  hope you are all having a fabulous Sunday so far!  for more wonderful sketches head over to Sophia's place and check out all of the other talented participants.

This is Amira's first attempt at a still life - a plate of different veggies. 
I think she did a great job!

Amira, Wonderful still life, the composition is great, you achieved perfect balance. I do hope you keep drawing and painting as you have talent young lady.

I love the mermaid, the detail and colors are so appealing. I wish you had time to join in the sketchbook project also, I am sure your book would be amazing.

Your moongazer is lovely. I particularly like the flower pattern on your mermaid. :) Again, still incredibly amazed at all of the detail you put in your artwork.

Amira's still life sketch is great. What a super job for the first time. :)

Oooooh... Look how great 'Moongazer' looks in full color!!! All that fine detail that I love so much really pops now that there is all of that wonderful color :)

So happy to see Amira's first still life - a rite of passage as an artist :)

Julia, when Moongazer popped up on my screen this morning, I said, "wow!" she really is lovely. The details you are creating in your pictures are really bringing the characters to life. I love the scales on her body. great work.

amira, drawing fruit is actually one of my favorite little excersises. You, are doing wonderful things with your colored pencils. Keep up the good work!!! have a good week in school

wow, what great details/textures, it must have taken a while just to draw them, I'm always impress by all the ways you can add details

Amira's certainly moving along nicely, perhaps she will try paint next time
