Sunday Sketches

Happy Sunday Everyone!

This is a work in progress that I am having a lot of fun with.  I am thinking about toile as I pattern the background, headpiece, and some of the flowers...I love black toile especially, so this is a fun experiment for me.  Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and a restful, creative Sunday.
You can find more fabulous art over at Blue Chair Diary.  Be sure to say Hi to our lovely hostess Sophia - a very talented and interesting woman.

Smiles to All :-)

Glorious detail. I am such a huge fan of line art and you create such a wonderful balance here, even as an unfinished WIP. I love the jolt of green against the black and red.

I love the contrast of the colors with the blank ink. Such dramatic effect.

How are you dearest Julia? Have you unpacked? Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Ohhhh, I absolutely LOVE her red hair and the splashes of colour you put in there...just a tad and it's perfect! I'm pretty impressed STILL at the detail of your artwork. I'm not sure that I could ever be that patient and admire what you do.

Big hugs. PS Sitting down for a hot cuppa now...care to join me? :) Love you.
