Sunday Sketches - Sara

HAPPY SUNDAY SKETCHES ALL!

THIS HAS BEEN ANOTHER BUSY WEEK, BUT LOTS OF FUN CREATING THIS LITTLE PORTRAIT FOR A FRIEND'S DAUGHTER 'SARA'.  I DID SOMETHING DIFFERENT THIS TIME AND ADDED COLOR, AND I THINK I LIKE THE RESULTS.  UNFORTUNATELY MY SCANNER TURNED THIS OUT A LITTLE BLURRY, BUT HOPEFULLY YOU CAN STILL PICK UP THE DETAILS....
I CONTINUE TO LOVE DOING THESE LITTLE DOODLE PORTRAITS, REALLY RELAXING AND FUN TO INDIVIDUALIZE THEM!

HOPE YOU ARE ALL HAVING A FABULOUS WEEKEND AND FINDING TIME TO RELAX, CREATE, ENJOY YOUR FAMILIES, AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT MAKES YOU SMILE!

You can find more incredible artists at our lovely hostess, Sophia's place.  Be sure to stop over and have a look.  And if you have a yen to share your doodles with this great group, post a sketch of your own and link it on Sophia's site.  Everyone is welcome!

OOOH, that Sarah is psychedelic! She looks like she is tattooed, oh well, that is why they call it "inked"! Hahaha!

Julia, my beautiful sisterfriend, thank you for your sweet and kind comment. Thank you for being there and always giving me a kind word. You are a gentle soul and I appreciate you very much. Thank you!

I know you will understand. I was thinking of you because I know you just moved and that is a MAJOR event. I hope you are settling down. I am happy to see your posts.

Have a beautiful Sunday and a good week, no, make that a very good week!

I love how you created this one, Julia. Love the words incorporated into the artwork. I did a zoom in so I could read things, and love the little line of "I love choir..." :)

Hope you have a wonderful week! Hugs!!

Always love your detail and style! Lucky Sara! Love the idea that we each have a story and hers in within and part of the painting!

Love your three installment story too - what a tribute! My great aunt would love it, she lost her husband in WWII.

Julia my sweet friend, I hope you are having wonderful days over there... This little lady is charming! I love the tiny details you brought into her. I have been a reluctant blogger for the past week, but I've missed everyone so much, I suppose it's not likely for me to stay off too long! Hugs! oxox

The Sunday sketches are still going strong. I was doing them for a while but many other things got in the way. Hopefully after the holidays I can join in again.
