Sunday Sketches - At last!

Hello to all my lovely blogger friends!  Finally back in a place where I can participate in Sunday Sketches again!  Yeah!  This is a quick sketch done on the couch last night just so I'd have something to submit and it feels so good to be drawing again!

Can't wait to take my hot cuppa and head over to Blue Chair Diary, Sophia's place, to see all the other wonderful participants this week.

If you have the time, I am also dabbling in a little writing again, so go see the two previous posts for my latest short story and do let me know what you think.

Finally, I realized yet again, after this long absence, how much you all mean to me, so thank you each and every one for taking the time to stop by and say hello!  It really makes my day!

for some reason, I think of her as a mother - perhaps it's the way her lips are - determined but with a smile

Julia,
She is quite elegant, those big eyes and mouth - lovely. Then the way her hair wraps around her and the swerve in her top.... like a wrap for beauty.

How beautiful! You are such a creative soul! I hope that your move is winding down (all that work!) and glad to see you back.
I thought that I had left a message before (sorry!), but I read your story Saturday night on my phone while waiting for a reservation and was tearing up the whole time - the words have stayed with me - the mark of true genius! I LOVED it, xoxo
