After a much needed break and a lot of rest, I am so happy to back participating with the
wonderful Sunday Sketches gang!

Can't wait to go around and visit all of your sketches and just soak up what you have all been doing artistically, and personally! :-)
This is a piece that I am working on for a friend of mine, not quite finished, but having lots of fun laying in the details now...
I really enjoyed this departure from my usual ladies, and it was definitely a challenge as I have not drawn fish before! But lots of fun, cause I could make these Koi fish look just how I wanted.

Love the koi... can just imagine them inhabiting your water feature... the pond below, swimming about the plants and such.

Hi Julia, I missed you and then the week you come back I am missing. I have had company and just to busy between that and jury duty to get anything done.
Love the fish and all the movement in the water is awesome. It is good to get out of our comfort zones once in a while.
