You can find more great Sunday Sketches at Sophia's place so be sure to drop by for a visit.
These are two new pieces done this week inspired by amazing artist Rebecca Anthony at http://daisydollsdollshop.blogspot.com/.

You all know I love detail work, so after seeing her series of embellished, detailed work, I was oh so inspired! This is one of the very best parts of blogging!!! I always get inspired by all of you wonderful unique artists.
Hope you all have a wonderfully relaxing Sunday!

Love these pieces, and contrast between one with eyes closed and one with eyes open - how her heart moves from mind to sight...do not know if that was what you were thinking, but that is how I saw it...like moving love from a thought to an action....lovely...bkm
ReplyDeleteCool interpretation - I am a big believer that Love is an 'ACTION VERB' not a noun, so I love this idea. Thanks for your lovely thoughts.
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic Julia, I love them. They have a zentangle feel to the hair and your colors are fabulous. I will have to check out Rebecca's blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marlene - again a real complement coming from a talented artist such as yourself!
