Happy Sunday Sketches all!






I tried something new this week - I have to admit I am so enamored of all the big-eyed girl art out there. For all of you who specialize in this type of picture, I just love them all.



So this is my attempt at a couple of Big-Eyed Girls - I am a little disappointed, because they just really doesn't do too much for me...maybe this is just not my genre. I'm kinda surprised because as I said I just love all of this type of art that I see on so many blogs...




Well I proved I can imitate all of you great wonderful artists out there to some extent. Hopefully if you think it looks a little like your work, you will be flattered and not annoyed:-)

    Oh they're lovely. I especially like the last one with the wild ginger hair. Green eyes - she must be irish!

    These are great I think you nailed the big eyed girl for sure!!! I like that you have maintained your own style but have done your version, that's what I hope my girls look like, if that makes sense ;0) Great pieces for this weeks Sunday sketches!

    ~beautiful big eyed girls...me...i am drawn to the first...her eyes are a tranquil sea of blueish purple...such sweet faces...wonderful sketches and blessings to you~

    I love them and I think they have your signature, your own style! The first has such a young quality to her - the second, well i always love red hair and green eyes, shes a little older, has something to say..

    I think these are really wonderful! It is something I think you should continue with, at least periodically. They would be perfect in a child's book.

    Of course, you know, I am drawn to the beauty of the bottom girl with the red and orange hair and big, bright green eyes! Her eyes are so expressive...and she looks HAPPY!
